Geneva Convention for the internet privacy?

The United Nation has a privacy chief and his name is Joseph Cannataci and he has called for a Geneva Convention on Internet Privacy. Here is the article in question: http://goo.gl/8Xbvm3 The UN has called on governments to respect the right to privacy especially as governments intrude more and more on individuals and companies. The googlethon becomes the alphabet...

Today we hear the announcement that Sergy and Larry have formed a new company called Alphabet. Google will become a subsidiary of Alphabet. This was kept very quiet and commentators are saying that nobody in Silicon Valley had any idea. So it was with interest that I quickly looked up the company which is found at abc.xyz. So a lot of speculation but one thing is for sure this decision was not taken overnight. The thinking is sound and, as Larry says, it will help them to make each company "cleaner and more accountable". Lets see what new they do as ABC.XYZ.
